aT Spreads Awareness of Korean Trends in ThailandParticipating in Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunities 2017 with 8 Korean companies

MAFRA (the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs) and aT (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp.) participated in Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunities 2017 which proceeded from July 13 through 16, with a view to assist the advance of Korean dining brands into overseas markets.

In cooperation with eight Korean franchises including BHC and Pizza Maru, aT organized a Korea Hall at the exhibition. It functioned as a venue for promotional events and business negotiations with potential buyers.

Baek Jin-seok, aT’s Food Export Director, said, “Thailand is a country with a well-developed food culture and food manufacturing industry. Therefore, it is a crucial foothold for the advance of Korean dining brands to the Southeast Asian markets.” He added, “We hope that this exhibition helps Korean dining brands to gain a foothold in the Thai market and expand to neighboring countries.”
