On May 17, officers of the Taiwanese investigatory and monitoring agency Control Yuan visited the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, to learn about the Korean agricultural industry.
Baek Jin-seok, the head of the Export Division of aT, introduced them to Korea food products that are exported to Taiwan and receive positive responses there.
Furthermore, he explained advanced plant cultivation and food safety systems used by Korean producers. The Taiwanese delegation also visited the Flower Marketing Center where they looked at Korean flowers actively exported overseas, such as cymbidium.
As a token of gratitude, Ms. Yang Mei-ling, one of the officers of Control Yuan, presented Baek an appreciation plaque.
