Bibigo seaweed snacks of CJ Cheiljedang are receiving a good response among foreigners. Recently, the producer released a new type of Bibigo seaweed snacks designed with foreign consumers in mind.
The product uses a technology of combining seaweed with rice chips. The technology has been independently developed by CJ Cheiljedang and is awaiting patents in the US, China, and Japan.
Bibigo Seaweed Snack is a low-calorie food with a clean taste because the snack is not fried but baked in an oven. No artificial additives (colors or fragrances), trans fats, gluten, or cholesterol are used.
Two Flavors: Sweet “Honey and Corn” and Spicy “Hot Spicy”
The newly released Bibigo seaweed snack comes in two flavors that are expected to appeal to Chinese consumers: the sweet-tasting “Honey and Corn” and the spicy “Hot Spicy.”
The merit of the Honey and Corn snack is in the harmony of aromatic acacia honey and creamy corn. The Hot Spicy snack is made with chili oil which is widely used in Chinese cuisine.
According to a representative of CJ Cheiljedang, the company is planning to actively promote Bibigo Seaweed Snack to foreign consumers through major foreign distributors such as Costco and Walmart.
