Fermented Food Product Made with Red Ginseng and Grains
Consumption of enzyme foods has increased as it became known that enzymes increase the basal metabolic rate and help to reduce body fat. In Korea, too, there are various enzyme products. One of them, Red Ginseng Hi-saeng, is produced by Hi-Mo, which is a representative enzyme food company. The product is receiving a positive response.
Fermentation of Six-year-old Red Ginseng and Grains
Red Ginseng Hi-saeng is a fermented food product in which six-year-old red ginseng and grains are fermented in order to help the absorption of essential nutrients from the ginseng and grains.
The saponin in ginseng has been proven to reinforce immunity and help in the recovery from fatigue. But if the body does not have enough intestinal microorganisms, it cannot fully absorb all the active ingredients. Hi-Mo resolved this problem by fermenting six-year-old red ginseng with grains such as brown rice, rice bran, and soybeans. What’s more, in consideration of consumer health, the company does not use any synthetic preservatives or other artificial additives in this product.
Red Ginseng Hi-saeng is easy to carry as it comes in globules packed by portion in easy to open bags. The product comes in two sizes: 105g (30 servings) and 315g (90 servings).
