Shinjo Fish Cake is similar to Japanese kamaboko (a type of Japanese fish cake) products. It is made of minced white fish flesh, salt, and egg white. The main ingredients are the flesh of white corvina (caught off Jeju Island) and pollack. Fresh vegetables―such as onion and green onion―produced on Jeju Island are also added. Shinjo Fish Cake is very aromatic and can be cooked in various ways. The product comes in seven flavors: shrimp, black sesame, ginger, sea lettuce, shrimp and rape, salted pollack roe, and octopus. Yubamaki is a premium fish cake made of high-quality white fish flesh and nutritious vegetables such as carrots, peas, and shiitake mushrooms. The cake is coated with yuba (a thin film formed by coating a product with heated soybean milk), which is high in protein.
These premium fish cake products are manufactured in a clean and hygienic production line according to the standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
